Information We Collect

Restored Roots Counselling may collect information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, contact-form details, newsletter preferences, purchase information, and information needed to create and maintain a membership account.

For membership accounts, we may store your email address, a securely hashed password, account and subscription status, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, and temporary password-reset information. We do not store your readable password.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, process purchases, deliver digital resources, authenticate membership accounts, grant or end access to paid features, provide account and order support, send requested updates, prevent misuse, maintain website security, and improve the website.

Payments and Subscriptions

Membership payments are processed securely by Stripe. Digital products may be sold and delivered through Payhip. Payhip may process customer email, order, payment, and download-access information needed to complete the purchase and provide the file. Other products may be processed by Stripe, PayPal, or another payment provider identified at checkout. Restored Roots Counselling does not store your full credit or debit card number on this website. Payment providers process your information under their own privacy policies.

Communication-Practice Information

The Learn to Listen. Learn to Reflect. tool is designed for skills practice, not for sharing confidential counselling information. Written choices, spoken practice responses, transcripts, and exercise progress are not sent to or stored by Restored Roots Counselling. Progress is saved locally in the browser on the device used and may not transfer to another browser or device. Browser-based voice features may rely on speech services provided by the user's browser or device.

Digital Downloads

If you purchase a digital product, your email address and order information may be used to provide access to the purchased download and to assist with order support.

Email Communication

If you subscribe to updates, we may send occasional emails about new resources, articles, videos, or announcements. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies and Local Storage
